Greg Alford


Homebuilding has always been Greg's passion—starting with the pursuit of his education. Greg Alford received a college degree specializing in Building Construction. After building luxury homes for over 20 years, Greg started his own homebuilding company Alford Homes, L.P. in 2001. The first year, Alford Homes had two custom home sales, but by 2005 home sales had sky-rocketed to 20. By 2007, Alford Homes was building 25 luxury custom homes a year. The rest is history.

Greg Alford, president of Alford Homes, has 38 years of experience in the upper-end luxury homebuilding business. Greg believes that it’s crucial to stay up to date with the latest industry trends, and he’s always looking for opportunities to gain additional expertise on various aspects of the homebuilding business. Greg is one of only 1,200 professional builders nationwide to attain the Graduate Master Builder certification from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). This special designation is considered the pinnacle of homebuilding for veteran homebuilders. Greg has also achieved the Certified Graduate Builder and Certified Green Professional certifications from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Greg is a registered professional builder and a member of the Dallas Builders Association (formerly the HBA) where he has been certified as a Green Built Texas homebuilder. 


Alford Homes’ success can be attributed to their quality construction, superior customer service, green building techniques which makes their homes high performing and energy efficient along with utilizing the latest state-of-the-art technologies. Greg and Alford Homes branched out to development projects like Bluffview Park Estates in the Bluffview neighborhood in Dallas, Tx. However, his primary mission, remains building luxury custom homes of matchless quality, that stand the test of time and a home product that he is proud to stand behind.

Greg assists homebuyers like you in pre-planning, design and budgeting through the skilled execution of every construction detail. He enjoys collaborating on projects with engaged owners along with his talented team of expert craftsman. Many of Alford Homes’ homebuilding experts have worked with them for decades. Julie Alford, the homebuilder’s wife, is an important part of Alford Homes and works in the financial and marketing departments. Ben Alford joined Alford Homes a few years ago and he’s now the Project Manager - who’s in charge of the daily operations of the construction projects and the production department. The Alford’s daughter is at the University of Texas studying to be an architect. The Alford family has a lifetime commitment to homebuilding.

Greg Alford is also a licensed Realtor in the State of Texas and can offer additional services to his clientele like – locating a premier homesite or lot, assistance with selling your previous home and much more. Greg has relationships with many of the top residential developers. He can work directly with the developers to negotiate the best deal for his customers. Also, Greg’s able to explain the differences in lot sizes/locations and which lots will fit certain home designs and floorplans best.
